For the building blocks I finished in the beginning of July the Lego TinTin Moon rocket. After that it was time for an alternative challenge that I saw on Instagram. The building of the Lord of the Rings Argonath statues. For that one I bought the cheapest none Lego version of the LOTR Rivendell, because this special build was done with about 53% of the set blocks. From the rebrickable.com sit I bought the instruction pdf’s and after the “big job” started with a weekend of sorting-out all the Rivendell parts. The actual building of the 3 boats and the 2 Argonath statues took me 2,5 weeks, where I did less cycling and less watching TV. I also finished a small Harry Potter build and The Hobbit unexpected Gathering.

New passport, Argonaths and more…
After receiving an email we went on 3 July to the Post Office to send my “old” (but still valid) passport to the Dutch Embassy in Bangkok. On 8 July we received my old passport, that was made in-active and my new passport. Because the Visa pages were still intact on the old passport, I had to go to Immigration to transfer the original 2015 Visa and the current extension to my new passport. On Tuesday 14 July I went to Sakon Nakhon for this and in about 15 minutes everything was done at Immigration.

July was a busy time for Siripron, at her work at the Annamai, they started to give people the yearly Flue injections. So, many days Siripron had to go more early to work but there were also more co-worker celebrations. Like a BBQ dinner for Siripron her Birthday and 2 promotion eat-together lunch/dinner. On Friday 24 July Siripron got het flue injection.
On the rice field there is still to problem of the poorly rainy season. And yes we had a few days with rain in July but they were short and most of the time not heavy. Siripron helped het Sister (Nok) Wannapha with planting new rice plants after they pumped water on the fields. For our rice field brother Arun helped Siripron 2 times with getting water from a lake to the rice field and he also helped with cutting the grass that grown faster than the rice plants. But the last few days of July we’ve got more rain, so we are a bit hopeful.
Other things that happened:
– On 7 July I went for lunch & shopping to Kham Ta Kla.
– Siripron planted a few papaya and okra plants.
– The last jack frutes came of our trees and the mango’s are almost finished.
– The motor bike of Benz needed again repairs.
– The brother of the Papa of Benz & Both died, Benz & Fern went to the cremation.
– 28 July was Kings Day in Thailand.
– With the special Buddha Days on 29 & 30 July the 3 months of Buddha started.
