Like always, in the beginning of December we were busy with preparing my Marriage Visa extent. This requires many papers, of proof of income, photos and a visit to the Government for a paper that proves that we are still married. On 16 December we went to Immigration in Sakon Nakhon and we were lucky that it was not busy, so 45 minutes later I got my 1-month temporary stamp in my passport. Now I’m waiting for the official aproval.

Papa Day, Visa, Benz and more…
On 5 December was Papa Day in Thailand and this year for the first time we can only do a remember for both of our Papa. On 18 December 2024 the Papa of Siripron died and in the morning of the 18th Siripron did wake-up early to give some simple gifts to the everyday passing Monks. On 2 January Warunee will do a celebration with Monks at her house, and the name of Papa will be mentioned in the prays.

After Benz got his new car, he applied for a job as a delivery driver but with the first company he was put on a waiting list. Because Benz is not somebody who sits and wait, he found another company where already could start as a motorbike delivery driver and later use his car for bigger deliveries. At this job he has now a standard salary for which he has to deliver a number of packages, and for each more delivered pack they pay him extra. In this December month there any many days with extra packages. At the house of Fern Benz got some help to extend a roof to protect his car.
For my e-bike the story continues because the repaired battery was not working well. When the charge indicator shows about 30 to 35% left the battery is suddenly empty. After that the charging of the battery takes less than 75 minutes and it was originally almost 2 hours. The shop advised me to send the battery back for again repairs, but I lost my trust in this battery and ask the shop for another solution. They offered me a better-quality battery from LG at a discount price and also still repair the original one. On 22 December I received the new battery and I will send the old one for repairs in the beginning of January.
Other things that happened:
– I’ve finished some challenges (Silk Road, Conqueror 2025 and 3th Hobbit)
– 10 December Constitution Day and Birthday of Teil, wife of Arun.
– I send by post my application for Tax reduction in The Netherlands.
– The Lego Christmas tree was ordered before but I’ve build it this month.
– Lunch at Kham Ta Kla with 2 friends and I’ve got my Xmas order.
– Christmas Day Siripron had goodbye party for a former colleague (niece An).
– I’ve ordered Dutch cookies (stroopwafels) to give to family & neighbors.
– In 2025 my indoor and outdoor cycling total was more than 6.000 km.
– Doing the grass was more leaves and dust.
– We celebrated 2 times the end of the year with a dinner.
