For the virtual challenges I received in February a few medals… This month I virtual walked & biked in China (a part of the Great Wall & a part of the Silk Road), India (a part of the Golden Triangle), Ireland (a part of the Ring of Kerry), and in the USA (a part of a trail on the east coast). I finished Easter Island, Mount Fuji, Mount Everest Base Camp and Mount Kilimanjaro. My big medal display got again an extension.

Vaccines, Nakhon Phanom, Activities and more…
In February the Papa of Siripron got his 2nd Astrazeca injection. We brought him to the location and Siripron stayed with him. I went shopping and waited at the Amazon café shop. At the beginning of the month we also decided that my at a private hospital reserved injection would go to Siripron, because she wanted Moderna and not Pfizer. So on 24 February we went in the morning to Udon Thani Bangkok Hospital where she her 2nd booster (after 2x Sinovac and 1x Pfizer). I made there a reservation on 24 June for my 2nd booster. Lunch was in Central Plaza were we also did some shopping.
Because the “farang lunch” of 5 March was moved from Nakhon Phanom to Udon Thani we moved our hotel reservation to the last weekend of February. On Saturday afternoon we drove to Nakhon Phanom and before dinner we went to the center of the town for the Snake statue, the evening market. Because our favorite restaurant was closed we went to another one that was also nice, a little windy at the border of the Mekong River but it was oke. After Sunday morning breakfast, a little walk and a pick-up of our niece May (Pornpimol, the oldest daughter of Nong & Den) we drove home. On our way back we bought some birthday cake and stopped with the Sawang Dean Din market.

At the second half of February we had some unusual weather, because it is normal the end of the dry season and almost the beginning of summer. But we had a few days that looked more like rainy season and after that a few days with colder weather.
Other things that happened:
– The Chinese year of the Tiger started.
– At the fish shop we bought squid rings and tilapia.
– I did my 90-days report on the Immigration App on my phone.
– With our car we went to Honda for maintenance.
– I’ve got my application papers for my Dutch Government Pension.
– I am still preparing my Thai Tax return papers for 2021.
