Activities, Days-0ff, Blocks and more…

On Saturday 6 July was the “yearly” “bike/run/walk” event organized by the small hospital where Siripron works. I came a lite late (06:15u.) and I walked the 5 km because I cannot run anymore because of my “bad” knees. For the virtual challenges I walked & biked in America (Appalachian Trail & the Oregon Trail) and started the fantasy challenges of Tomb Raider. I’m of course still busy with the year cycling challenge (Conqueror 2024). I finished the American Bigfoot trail, Icelands Reykjavik and the Vietnam Coast, the long version.

In July there were a few days-off and Siripron also took some extra days-off. On the first day-off (19 July) we went to Phang Khon, a city nearby to change the name for my phone number from Siripron to me. This was necessary because the name (in the nearby future) has to be the same for bank App users to trace money laundering. After that, on Saturday 20, was a “big” Buddha day and that was the start of the 3 months with important Buddha days. During these 3 months some people stop with drinking alcohol.

For the building blocks we’ve finished the “none Lego” “Guardian of the Galaxy” Grote (476 pieces) and I’ve finished the “none Lego” Globe (2.591 pieces) and the “none Lego” Apolo Saturn V rocket (1.969 pieces). With Siripron I’m now building the “nore Lego” Harry Potter owl “Hedwig” (630 pieces) and on my own I’m working on the “none Lego” LOTR Rivendell (6.167 pieces with among others 15 LOTR figures).

In July the rainy season was very active, special in the last 2 weeks there was almost every day at least drizzle but most days also more or less heavy rain. I was lucky the mow the grass on the few days without rain because I have to do that about every 14 days. On the rice field the lowest part will not have rice because there is too much water on it. Siripron was again a few days on the rice field and got help from her brothers Arun & Den, but she also helped Arun & sister Wannapha with planting new rice plants.

Other things that happened:
– Both & Preaw were here and we visited the finished house of Preaw.
– I went again to Kham ta Kla for lunch and met 2 people from The Netherlands.
– The Papa of Siripron had to go to the hospital for check-up.
– Our septic tanks had to be emptied.
– On 21 July we had a Birthday-dinner from sister Warunee.
– 28 July was King’s Day in Thailand.
– Ernst, a Dutch man which I met in Kham Ta Kla, visited our house.
– I’ve put a new ROAD-ID (name & contact plate) on my bike.
