July was a peak for the rainy season and the end of the month a few tropical storms came to the north of Thailand. This resulted in main wind and rain. For our rice field was clear that our first try was a failure and that’s why we gave Arun the permission to try again but for now there is too many water on the rice fields… And the tropical storms or depressions did more than that but maybe I will do a separate blog about that…
The repair of our car didn’t take 2 weeks but after almost 4 weeks the car was not 100% fixed but we could use it. When we went to the Honda dealer for a check-up they told us that the lid of the trunk was too heavy because of the repairs… So we asked our Insurance agent to do the final repairs with Honda but we will only get 25% of the Honda estimation from our Insurance Company… We will still do the final repairs with Honda because we were not happy with the repair shop!
Because the Visa 90-days report still is not working by Internet we went on 3 July with Warunee and Wannapa to the school were they work as teachers. After that we took the car of Warunee to Immigration at Sakon Nakhon. Doing the report at Immigration was only a few minutes. After that Siripron changed one of her rings, because the old one was difficult to get off, at Robinson Shopping mall and we bought some Farang food.
On Saturday 8 July the 3 months of Buddha days started with “Asanha Bucha day” so we went in the morning with Piauw and Both to our Temple. A few people of our family are now not drinking alcohol for 3 months, also Benz is trying to do that…
The Birthdays of Warunee and Noon Kapolo (the partner of our nice Eye’e) were celebrated on 21 July with a dinner at the house of Aunt. The hairdresser shop of the Mamma of Piauw is moved from Sawang Daen Din back to their village. They have an extra building next to the house that they will use that as a hairdresser shop.
Other things that happened:
– Our monthly visit to Kham Ta Kla for bread and liver sausages.
– With our Android box we watched some (old) movies. I have seen the movie and the first season of “Fargo” and episodes of season 7 “Games of Thrones” are now available.
– Chok Dee is doing well but he is limping sometimes with his right back leg…
