Winter, Remember and more…

Where I last month complained about the too much rain we are now talking about the higher parts of the rice field are too dry. At the beginning of the month we had a few days with light rain but after that it was dry until Sunday 27 when we had a little rain. This weather and the lately colder mornings are the harbinger of Winter.

13 October was Queen’s Day and 23 October was remembering King Chulalongkorn and on that day sister-in-law Warunee decided to have a remember Temple service for lost family members among other: Mamma Thumarak, brother Narong, her before husband Thomas Roejfors. So, after preparing food, the day before, we went in the morning to “our” Temple of Ban Pho Chai for the Temple service with the mention of the names of the deceased persons.

For the building blocks we’ve finished the “none Lego” Harry Potter “Forbidden Forrest” and I finished the extended version of Hogwarts Castle (6,000+ pieces). We still have to build 2 smaller “Harry Potter” ones and I almost finished Harry Potter Hogwarts Express but… I miss a “few” important part which I ordered in The Netherlands.

For the virtual challenges I walked & biked in America (Appalachian Trail & the Oregon Trail), Norway (the Fjords of Norway) and I am almost finished the fantasy challenge of Tim Burton’s “Corpse Bride”. Of course, I’m still busy with the year cycling challenge (Conqueror 2024). This month I finished the “North Coast 500” in Scotland and the fourth Harry Potter (there will be again 3 HP’s at the end of this year).

Other things that happened:
– Arun, brother of Siripron, fixed a part of my big Makita lawn mower.
– I bought a new grass trimmer, now of TOTAL, and it works great.
– In the garden we cut some trees and I had the do the grass again.
– Our septic tanks had to be emptied again because of many water.
– I went again to Kham ta Kla for lunch and my normal shopping.
– 17 October was the end of 3 months with special Buddha Days.
– Nephew Arm, again in Korea, celebrated his birthday with a dinner.
– Again this month I tried to help Gerard (NL) with several things.
– Siripron went almost every weekend to work/help on the rice field.
– The whole month we had lamyai (logans) from our 2 trees.
