Other things that happened:
– We have shortened some bushes and trees in our garden.
– Glen, the husband of Warunee, celebrated his birthday with a family dinner.
– 12 August was Mamma Day in Thailand, Fern came to pay respect.
– I went again to Kham ta Kla for lunch and shopping.
– Our nephew Arm gave a goodbye dinner, he went to work in South Korea again.
– 15 August “stone to eye accident”, next day to Bangkok Hospital Udon Thani.
– Our septic tanks had to be emptied again, because of the many rain.
– We’ve paid our yearly car insurance at Honda.
– Both stayed a very days with and he will return to Bangkok in September.
– Siripron went almost every weekend to work on the rice field.
– On 16 September we have an appointment in Bangkok…

Weather, Activities, Blocks and more…
In my last blog (July) I mentioned that we had a very active rainy season but then there was this month. I have never seen a month with so many days of rain, almost every day started with rain and in the night sometimes heavy rain. The rice fields of our family where partly flooded and Siripron had to clean those parts after the water went away, because the dirt was pushing the rice plants down. On the higher parts of the rice field the rice plants are looking very beautiful.
For the Harry Potter virtual challenges I was invited the lead a group of people in a so called Community and I was/am representing Ravenclaw House. For the HP challenges there are total 8 Ambassadors in 2 groups. I also started my first Messenger chat group as a part of my “task”. For now, I know that the Harry Potter launch was a big success and that was noticeable for me too… (busy, busy).
For my own virtual challenges I walked & biked in America (Appalachian Trail & the Oregon Trail), doing the last part, no.3, of Tomb Raider and I’ve started the fantasy challenges of Harry Potter. I’m of course still busy with the year cycling challenge (Conqueror 2024). I finished Tomb Raider part 1 & 2.
For the building blocks we’ve finished the “none Lego” Harry Potter owl “Hedwig” (630 pieces) and the “none Lego” LOTR Rivendell (6.167 pieces with among others LOTR figures). In Augustus I’ve ordered and partly received some extra Harry Potter (“none”) Lego sets, which among the extended version of Hogwarts Castle (6,000+ pieces). Some of the smaller ones I will build with Siripron.
